THE Sunshine Coast may have lost the Australian PGA Championship, but it still jealously holds onto the Calvin Klein Queensland A, B and C Grade Golf Championships, which will be played at Noosa Springs from November 25 to 27.

The event is open to all amateur golfers who have a registered Golf Australia handicap that places them in A, B or C grade.

The 54-hole event is played over Noosa Springs’ world-class layout and, because it is a handicap event, you do not have to be an elite golfer to be competitive.

Proceedings get under way at 5pm on Thursday, November 24, with a welcome cocktail party. Three rounds are played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with an official presentation on the afternoon of Sunday, November 27.

Golfers can stay at the resort with accommodation packages beginning at $90 per person a night, with breakfast included. There are packages for singles, couples, families and groups.

Noosa Springs, one of Australia’s finest courses, is located in the heart of Noosa, just three kilometres from Hastings Street and the Noosa National Park.

The resort includes a spa, fitness centre and tennis courts.

The cost for three rounds of golf, a Calvin Klein gift pack, attending the cocktail party and the chance to win great prices is $319 ($124 for Noosa Springs members, and $259 for Hope Island members).
