HIGH FIVES: Hello from happy golfers taking part in one of the Sunshine Coast Classic events.

It’s the perfect time to lock in your place at the 2025 Sunshine Coast Autumn Classic and Winter Classic – two open tournaments staged in Queensland’s renowned golfing conditions. After last year’s sell-out success, organisers at Golf Sunshine Coast are again hosting these highly anticipated events, and places are filling up faster than ever.

The 72-hole Autumn Classic begins on May 25, followed by the Winter Classic on August 10, each played across four of the Sunshine Coast’s finest golf courses – Maroochy River, Palmer Coolum, Pelican Waters, and Twin Waters. Golfers from around Australia (especially those in cooler southern states) can look forward to Queensland’s comfortable year-round climate and the chance to compete on premium courses.

Each event is an individual stableford competition, offering daily prizes in A and B grades for both men and women, plus approach prizes each day and overall awards across the four-round format. The entry fee of $795 per player includes four days of golf with carts, daily lunches, welcome and presentation functions, and a special gift pack. Preferential accommodation rates are also available through tournament partners.

With the Autumn Classic fast approaching, and the Winter Classic following soon after, organisers are urging players to secure their spots without delay.

Widely regarded as must-play tournaments on the Sunshine Coast, both events also invite players and partners to a sit-down presentation dinner following the final round at Twin Waters – an ideal way to celebrate and connect with fellow golf enthusiasts.
