South African golfing gem, The Links at Fancourt

With its amazing variety in nature, wildlife and culture, South Africa certainly stands up to its slogan “a world in one country.” It also has some of the world’s most exciting golf courses.

There is a wealth of phenomenal courses throughout the African continent’s southern tip to challenge the skills and senses. Of course, golf is not the biggest game in the land – that happens to belong to the elephant, rhino, cape buffalo, leopard and lion…the ‘Big Five.’ Throw in added ingredients of exotic culture and heritage, a burgeoning wine industry, world-class cuisine and unforgettable scenery and you have the exact reasons any adventurous golfer should wander that distance.

The South African Golfing Adventure begins on November 14th 2018 and visits nine outstanding courses including the top 3 golf courses in South Africa, The Links at Fancourt, Leopard Creek Country Club at Kruger and Gary Player Country Club at Sun City. With golf in Cape Town – Erinvale and Pearl Valley and along the Garden Route at Fancourt Montagu, Pinnacle Point and Arabella the tour is indeed a smorgasbord of Southern Africa’s best courses. The tour includes two game drives in Kruger National Park, a visit to the summit of Table Mountain, a trip to The Cape of Good Hope, whale watching from your hotel window in Hermanus and a walk with the gentle giants at Knysna Elephant Park.

The 16-night trip finishes in Johannesburg and is priced from $8595 a person, twin share. Non-golfers receive a $1500 discount.

In addition there is a pre-tour extension 9th-14th November to the island paradise of Mauritius staying and playing at four world-class golf courses. The extension tour price is $4895 with a non golfer discount of $850.
