GOLF Central Queensland held its first ever annual presentation night at Duaringa Golf Club where the players and their parents dressed up for the Hawaiian-themed event in late October.

Gurney Clamp congratulates Regan Carsburg on winning the inaugural Gurney and Gloria title.

Duaringa’s Regan Carsburg easily won the inaugural Gurney and Gloria’s event courtesy of accumulating 151 points to be the overall junior golfer of the year (male or female).

Regan won the event by a massive 14 points from Boyne Island Golf Club’s Nicholas Loveday (137). 

Other junior male gross winners were: 18-hole gross, Isaak Jensen 117 points; 13 holes winner, Jack Myles Boyne Island (106); nine holes, Nicholas Loveday Boyne Island (137); six holes, Tyler Wingate Miriam Vale (110); three holes, Rory Griffiths Calliope (122).

Junior female gross winners: 18 holes, Lily Mc Guiness (114) Yeppoon; 13 holes, Cheslsey Delaney (105); nine holes, Holly Vickers (100) Wowan; six holes, Teegan Godbee (126) Boyne Island and three holes, Caitlin Cameron (105) Calliope.

Female gross junior golfer of the year: Overall gross Teegan Godbee (125) Boyne Island; 18 holes, Lily McGuiness (114) Yeppoon; 13 holes, Chelsey Delaney (105) Boyne Island; nine holes, Holly Vickers (100) Wowan; six holes, Teegan Godbee (126) Boyne Island and three holes, Caitlin Cameron (105) Calliope.

The Junior Golf Queensland Districts Points Challenge winners were Boyne Island’s Aidan Gooderham from Wowan’s Nathan Vickers with Duaringa’s Regan Carsburg winning the girls’ event from Lily McGuiness.

Boyne Island’s Jack Myles won the boys nine-hole division from Boyne Island’s Owen Desertiaux with Boyne Island’s Lyla Gooderham winning the girls from Wowan’s Holly Vickers.

Boyne Island won the Golf Central Queensland Club of the Year award.
