GOLFER from Yeppoon Golf Club made full use of their home course advantage when member Louie Antcliff teamed up with Mt Morgan’s Lance Antcliff to win the 2021 Central Queensland Four-ball Stableford Championships.

The pair returned 48 points to finish four points clear of Boyne Island’s Scott Wawrzniak and Steve Gehrman.  

Louie Antcliff, Lance Antcliff, Nadine Battilana and Bernie Antcliff were all smiles after success in Central Queensland.

The ladies event went to Yeppoon’s Nadine Battilana and Bernie Antcliff. They finished with 45 points – two ahead of the Town of 1770’s Tania Dickson and Julie Morrison. 

For Nadine, the victory was a long time in the making after being the bridesmaid in the event for the past few years.

The teams’ event, where the three best stableford point scores count, also went to Yeppoon golfers.  

Bernie Antcliff and Nadine Battilana (45 points), Jeff Butler and Jeff Chant (42), Dean Brooks
and David Battilana (38) won with a 125 points total.
