The ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia returned ahead of a huge summer of golf with a thrilling finish at the WA PGA in Kalgoorlie.
41-year-old Darren Beck overcame a slow start on Sunday at the 2019 TX Civil & Logistics WA PGA Championship to power home in the afternoon, needing just eight putts on the back nine on his way to a drought-breaking win 10 years in the making.
With his 2020 European Tour card locked up, rookie pro Min Woo Lee headed to Korea for the Genesis Championship where he, too, finished with a bang.
Lee backed up a Saturday 81 with a brilliant Sunday 68 to rocket into the top 10.
Elsewhere, Brad Kennedy cracked the top 10 over 36 holes in Japan, while Aaron Wilkin matched that feat at the season-ending Macau Championship on the PGA Tour China.
But #AussieOfTheWeek came from the US this week though he continued the theme of strong finishes, with David McKenzie shooting a 9-under 63 in the final round, the lowest score of the week, to be runner-up on the Champions Tour.
The Victorian was 1-over through two holes before catching fire with eight birdies and an eagle, enough to cash a $US185,000 cheque and win our #AussieOfTheWeek!
