IT didn’t take Harrison Endycott long to find his feet on the US PGA Tour.

Playing in his first event after graduating from the Korn Ferry Tour, the 26-year-old impressed onlookers at the $8m Fortinet Championship at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California last month.

He carded rounds of 72-70-65-72 – 279 (nine-under par) to finish in a tie for 12th and banked a cheque for $A212,165.

It was a confident start for the young Sydneysider who played 21 tournaments on the Korn Ferry Tour where he finished 21st on the
money list and pocketed just over $A350,000.

He missed the cut in his second start but finished in a tied for 69th (seven-under par) at the Shriners Children’s Open won by Tom Kim. Endycott share of the prize money was $US16,400

Endycott recorded one victory on the secondary tour last season winning the Huntsville Championship with a score of 16-under par – five strokes clear of his nearest rival. It was his first professional win.

Endycott, who grew up playing golf at Avondale Golf Club at Pymble in Sydney, was a decorated amateur.

He won five titles in 2016 and turned professional at age 21 in 2017, played two seasons on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica (2018 and 2019) and spent three years on the Korn Ferry Tour.
